Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Specialist with ARRT or RCIS certification and experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
Responsibilities
Work in a cardiac catheterization lab specializing in diagnostic and interventional cath proceduresPatient population includes cardiac and peripheral vascular casesProcedures include diagnostic caths, interventional caths, and peripheral diagnostic / interventionsUtilizes equipment such as IVUS, Combo Map, ICE, and HeartLab systemsDay shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMAssist physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images and operate radiographic equipment to acquire quality cardiac and vascular imagesDemonstrate expert knowledge in hemodynamics, diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral cardiac proceduresPrepare procedure rooms and equipment, perform daily room QCs, and manage inventory and suppliesDocument all patient data accurately in relevant EMR and reporting systems, including Apollo, HeartLab, ICE, IVUS, and WittFollow radiation safety protocols and maintain sterile technique during proceduresProvide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care, including prepping patients and administering drugs under direct supervisionParticipate in training and education of staff as neededExpect a structured onboarding process, including background check and drug screening within specified timelinesRequirements
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Science program, special procedures program, accredited school of professional nursing, or completion of a course in cardiac catheterization (transcripts required)Certification in Radiation Therapy through ARRT or RCIS certification through CCI is requiredExperience operating cardiac cath lab equipment, including radiographic imaging and patient monitoring devicesLicense required if applicableBenefits
