Key Job Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment Location : Lima, OH 45801 (northwest Ohio) Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Unit : ICU (24-bed unit, overflow up to 36 beds) Shift : 12-hour nights; every other weekend and holiday required Hours per Week : 36 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026) Scrubs : Navy blue Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780 - $1910 per week ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (Ohio nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide available) ECMO experience preferred, but not required Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Proven ability to care for high-acuity, neuro, cardiac, and post-surgical patients Experience with Alaris pumps, ventilators, CPAP / BiPAP, and pressors required; bonus for IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, Impella, SWAN, ECMO At least 1 year of RN experience required ICU Nurse Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with families Deliver advanced nursing care using life-support technologies (ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO, hemodynamic monitoring) Manage critically ill patients with multi-system organ failure or trauma Respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions and advocate for patient-centered care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including intensivists, residents, and hospitalists Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Educate and support patients and families facing acute illness or injury Apply now to join our healthcare team as an ICU Registered Nurse in Lima, Ohio.
