General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the service center. This role ensures operational excellence across all aspects of the moving and storage business, including local and interstate residential, commercial, and military relocations. The General Manager provides leadership to employees, ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations, and fosters a positive customer and employee experience through efficient operations and effective decision-making.

Strong knowledge of moving and storage operationsSolid understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehouse managementFinancial acumen with the ability to interpret P&L statementsExcellent leadership and people management skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilityEffective communication and interpersonal skillsRequired Education and Experience :
Preferred : Bachelor's degreePreferred : Military or government contract moving experienceRequired : 35 years of managerial experience in logistics, transportation, or moving & storageRequired : Proven track record of leading teams to achieve operational and financial goalsWorking Conditions :
Mostly indoors, working outdoors is sometimes requiredLifting in excess of 20 lbs is sometimes requiredLifting in excess of 50 lbs is rarely requiredAbility to work extended hours and weekends, particularly during peak summer seasonTravel may be required for training, meetings, or regional supportCompensation & Benefits :
