What you will do :
Perform installation and verification activities on Security related equipment for large installations, including installing, testing and commissioningRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specificationsComplete “As Built” drawings upon the completion of the projectComplete reports for submission to customers and carry out system acceptance tests with AHJ’s and other interested partiesMaintain up to date knowledge of various product linesConsult with Clients to assess risk and to determine Security requirementsAbility to participate in rotation on-call scheduleWhat we look for : Required
Must have working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques, programming, and testingHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license; must be able to pass driving background checkAbility to pass thorough background and identity checks.Ability to operate hand and power tools.Ability to unload ladder from fleet vehicle and climb ladder.Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 poundsExcellent customer service.Preferred
Preference will be given to those who have IT standards and network topology experienceExperience supporting the implementation of analog, hybrid and IP CCTV systems, access control systems, intercom systems, wireless, intrusion systems, and fire alarm systemsWorking knowledge of local and national codes for inspection and test purposesDemonstrated ability to program basic operations on micro-processor based systems without supervisionProficient in the operation of computers and knowledgeable on MS operating systems (including Windows 2000 Server). Ability to configure PC hardware and application programsComputer Network Experience and Qualifications would be a strong asset to this positionExperience working in the construction industry and construction managementExperience in the design or design assist in low voltage applications is desirableUnderstand technical system architectureStrong troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of electronic test equipmentGood communication skills and solid understanding of communication protocolHIRING HOURLY RANGE : $13.46-$26.00(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge,
