Director of Student Affairs Business and Finance

Reporting to the senior vice president for student affairs and serving as part of his leadership team, the director of student affairs business and finance functions as the senior business and finance official for the Division of Student Affairs, overseeing and administering all fiscal, compliance, and business operations for the division's $100+ million budget. The director coordinates and facilitates the daily activities of the Office of Business and Finance, directing all policy and process formation to ensure the most efficient use of the division's human and economic resources. The director manages and supervises a dynamic staff of four professionals, including two direct reports, and is directly responsible for a departmental budget of approximately $650,000.
Salary Range : $120,000-$150,000
Qualifications
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, accounting, or a related field; a minimum of seven years of experience developing, monitoring, analyzing, and overseeing budgets with progressing levels of responsibility and accountability; at least two years of experience directly managing full-time employees; knowledge of accounting and budget principles, practices, and the analysis of financial data; and / or an equivalent combination of education and experience (When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement at a rate of one (1) year of relevant education per year of required experience).
