STRONG Ortho experience a must along with Sports Medicine.\nMinimum 2 years experience - no first time travelers!!!\nRegistered Nurse - state of KS or multistate licensure\nBLS and ACLS\nMonday-Friday - no weekends, no holidays, no call\n\nWe have 6 operating rooms; 4 of those rooms are blocked off for orthopedics every day of the week. We do a high volume of total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle replacements). We have minimal assistance from the vendors in those cases, meaning that the nurses and techs in the room must know the instruments, set up and workflow for those types of cases. The other orthopedic surgeries we perform are mainly sports medicine related (ACL repairs, Shoulder scopes, rotator cuff, meniscal repairs, etc.).\n\nWe average about 25 cases a day. The RNs and techs in the operating room are expected to pull their own cases, set up their own rooms, and turnover their own rooms. May be asked to assist the sterile processing staff with sterilization of instruments or putting together instrument sets.\n\nTotal Hourly Pay Rate : \t $58.95 \t Per Hour \nOn W2(Taxable) : \t $18.00 \t Per Hour \nStipend(Non-Taxable) : \t $40.95 \t Per Hour \n\t\t\n\t\t\nWeekly Breakdown : \t\t\nWeekly Gross : \t $2,358.00 \t Per Week \nOn W2(Taxable) : \t $720.00 \t Per Week \nStipend(Non-Taxable) : \t $1,638.00 \t Per Week \nOT Rate ON W-2\t $27.00 \t Per Hour \nHours per week : \t40 \t Hours \n
