Manufacturing Engineer – Xico Lighting (Engineering Team)

Help Us Build World-Class Lighting, Smarter and Better Every Day

At Xico Lighting, we create innovative, high-performance architectural lighting systems that blend cutting-edge optics, advanced LED technology, and beautiful design. As part of the 3LED Group, we’re growing rapidly and investing in our in-house design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering Team, with a focus on practical process improvements, assembly operations, and industrial engineering best practices. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where you’ll collaborate closely with both engineering and production to ensure our products are built to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Why This Role Matters :

Our success depends on how well we design AND how well we build. This role sits at the heart of that mission – ensuring that Xico’s lighting products are designed for manufacturability and produced with reliable, repeatable, and efficient processes. You’ll make a real impact by improving workflows, introducing lean practices, and helping scale operations as we grow.

What You’ll Do :

  • Own and improve assembly processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with product design engineers to ensure new products are easy and cost-effective to manufacture.
  • Develop work instructions, process documentation, and production tooling / fixtures to support assembly teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, including layout optimization, takt time improvements, and cost reduction projects.
  • Analyze process flow, cycle times, and yields to identify and remove bottlenecks.
  • Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor, solving day-to-day challenges with the assembly and operations teams.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of practical experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, preferably with electromechanical or lighting / fixture products.
  • Strong background in assembly operations, process flow design, and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with fixtures, tooling, and production equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with production, operations, and design engineering teams.
  • A proactive, practical mindset – someone who enjoys being on the shop floor as much as working on process design.
  • What We Offer :

  • A key role within Xico’s Engineering Team, shaping the way our products are built as we scale rapidly.
  • The opportunity to see your work make an immediate difference on our production floor.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and room for advancement into senior engineering or operations leadership roles.
  • A collaborative, hands-on culture where bright minds make light work.
  • Come and help us build better, faster, and smarter. If you’re ready to bring your skills and experience to a growing, design-driven manufacturing company, we want to hear from you.

Apply today and be part of our journey to redefine what lighting can be.
