Location : Smithfield, USA | Type : Full-Time, On-Site

The Opportunity

Join our highly skilled, passionate Application Team in Smithfield, where your hands-on expertise will directly contribute to cutting-edge RF power technologies. As part of a close-knit group of professionals, you'll develop, assemble, and maintain innovative reference designs and demo boards that power industries around the world. This is a full-time, on-site role, essential to supporting our collaborative and fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble & Rework : Build and rework a variety of reference designs and demo boards using Ampleon RF power transistors and integrated devices.
  • Collaborate & Prioritize : Work closely with engineering and sales teams to align build schedules with customer needs and available parts.
  • Manage Inventory : Oversee the stockroom, track electronic components, and coordinate purchasing to ensure deadlines are met without delays.
  • Operate Machine Shop : Machine or modify copper, brass, and aluminum parts using CNC technology or hand tools.
  • Fabricate Components : Create or adapt mechanical components—such as baseplates with cooling channels or enclosures—to meet evolving design challenges.

  • What We're Looking For

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • 3+ years of electronics assembly experience (or equivalent).
  • Excellent SMT soldering and rework skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication in English.
  • Bonus skills : Machining (vertical mill, CNC, etc.) and 3D CAD design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
