Refrigeration Supervisor

Summary

The Refrigeration Supervisor is responsible for leading directing and coordinating the refrigeration service & repair to optimize performance with regard to safety, productivity and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise technical maintenance activities trouble shooting and the repair of R22 & Glycol refrigeration equipment including vessels evaporators condensers pumps motors compressors valves and other refrigeration equipment.
• Direct the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all production machinery and any building maintenance needs.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required by PSM schedules.
• Responsible for maintaining repairing and examining refrigeration systems (both Glycol and Freon)
• Observe test and evaluate operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions.
• Comply with Safety Programs to ensure protection of employees and property.
• Supervise, train and develop subordinates.
• Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.
• The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses / goggles, face shield, face mask, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves and safety shoes or rubber boots.
