Medicare Claims Specialist

A company is looking for a Medicare Specialist to manage and resolve Medicare claims for various hospital or physician groups.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve aged, outstanding, and denied medical claims to generate revenue

Review and post adjustments on Medicare claims using the DDE system and various websites

Maintain production criteria and ensure timely attendance while documenting account notes

Qualifications and Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred

1-2 years of experience with traditional Medicare claims and the DDE Direct Data Entry system

Able to type 50 words per minute

Experience with Health Information Systems is beneficial

Strong organizational and time-management skills
