The Chief AI Officer (CAIO) will provide strategic direction, oversight, and expertise in integrating artificial intelligence across our healthcare operations, ensuring AI innovations align with our vision and objectives.

Responsibilities : AI Strategy & Vision : Our ambition is to embrace and leverage AI to transform not just the Cleveland Clinic but the industry at large.

This role will Identify areas within the company's operations where AI can bring value, drive efficiency, or generate new revenue streams, and will lead the development and execution of a company-wide AI strategy, aligning with the company's objectives, stakeholders, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Coordination and Collaboration : Work closely with other C-suite executives, IT, data science teams, and clinical leaders to both drive AI projects from conception to implementation, as well as guide projects executed within other divisions.

Research & Development : Build, mentor, and lead a team of AI specialists, data scientists, and analysts; deliver AI powered solutions for the enterprise as needed.

Oversee the budget for AI projects, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and ROI.Partner : Identify areas of collaboration with other parties, and guide and develop AI novation : Foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation;

keep abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and academic research to ensure the company remains at the forefront of AI in healthcare.

Stakeholder Communication : Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders about AI projects, progress, challenges, and results.

Regulatory & Ethical Compliance : Ensure AI implementations adhere to industry regulations, ethical considerations, and best practices, especially regarding patient data privacy and security.

Other duties as assigned.Education : Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related plexity of Work : Proven track record of designing and implementing successful AI solutions, preferably in the healthcare -depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, especially those related to patient data and privacy.

Exceptional team leadership and collaboration skills.Strong business acumen with the ability to align AI capabilities with business strategies.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Work Experience : A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in AI, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Physical Requirements : Ability to travel throughout the health system.Ability to move up to 25 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment : Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay RangeMinimum hourly : $125.61Maximum hourly : $257.52The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.

While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary.

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.

This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare / dental / vision and retirement.
