Position : Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in Nassau County, Fl and northern Duval County, Fl. This is a 1099 position

Location : Northeast Florida / Jacksonville

Salary Range : $85,000 - $130,000+

Responsibilities :

As a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
  • Prescribing necessary medications and treatment
  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans
  • Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Collaborating with physicians and specialists on patient care

Qualifications and requirements :

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications :

  • Certified as a family or geriatric nurse practitioner in Florida
  • Ability to build strong rapport with patients
  • Thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Active APRN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active DEA license
  • Must be able to visit patients in North Jacksonville, West Jacksonville and Nassau County, Fl
