Why Join Our Team?
We are hiring for an experienced RN to join our MNO team in a Per Diem Day Shift position. The hours for the role are 7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm.
The MNO Unit is a 36 bed unit with multiple sub-specialties (neurology, oncology, and psychiatry). It has a specialized focus on stroke, seizures, epilepsy, other neurological conditions, oncology which includes the administration of chemotherapy.
Because of the multiple sub-specialties, nurses are required to meet mandatory competencies such as ACLS, stroke scale certification, CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), and chemotherapy competency.
The Tier III requirement is :
Five shifts per schedule period (24 of these hours must be fulfilled on a weekend shift), two holidays per year, two hard to staff days per year
What We Require for this Role :
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of.
Related Work Experience
15 months minimum of RN experience required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Active NJ RN license required.
