Linux / Pick Basic Database Administrator
In this full-time, direct hire position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and stability of our Linux (RedHat) servers that support our Pick Basic ERP system.
You will work collaboratively with internal teams to manage user accounts, databases, and maintain system efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and administer RedHat Linux servers.
- Perform routine server maintenance tasks (patching, updates, backups, etc.).
- Manage user accounts and access permissions for the Pick Basic ERP system.
- Administer and troubleshoot Pick Basic databases.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Resize and optimize file systems as needed.
- Document procedures and maintain clear configuration management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve system issues and support user needs.
Qualifications :
- Experience administering Linux servers (RedHat preferred).
- Experience working with Pick Basic databases or similar database systems.
- Strong understanding of user account management and access controls.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
