Real Estate Associate - Real Estate, Real Estate Law

We are seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join our real-estate practice in our Pittsburgh, PA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex real estate matters and to collaborate with a team of talented attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on all aspects of real estate law including acquisition, development, leasing, financing, and disposition
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to real estate transactions
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings
• Review and analyze real estate contracts and agreements
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in real estate transactions
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations
• Assist with the management of junior attorneys and legal staff as needed

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree
• Active license to practice in PA
• 3+ years of experience in real estate law, preferably with a focus on commercial real estate
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of complex real estate matters independently and with the team
• Experience with loan closings and real estate financing is preferred
• Experience with historic tax credits and other tax credit structures
