Our client needs a 1st shift Electrical Engineering Supervisor to oversee all plant electrical systems, repairs and improvements for the entire location.
The Electrical Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager.

- In addition to castings, they have a complete machine shop for fabrication, heating treating facility and testing lab
- Certifications include : AS0, ISO 1, Nadcap, and ASNT Levels II & III

What you will be doing :
- Ensuring that all electrical and electronic equipment is operationally ready
- Plan for all long-range electrical projects and for the electrical portion of any other projects
- Supervise and schedule the work for a group of 8 electrical people spread over three shifts and be directly involved in the selection, hiring, training and development of new personnel
- Manage administrative programs that concern electrical systems and personnel
- Oversee all contractors as needed, directing their activities to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects
What they are looking for :
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of electrical experience or + years of electrical experience or a combination of education and experience
- Must have prior supervisory experience
- Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting and repair of controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems
- Project management experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills are needed
- Must be a self-starter
