JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Nurse Practitioner is an essential and interactive position that includes working directly with patients and working with the diagnosis and treatment of care.
Order / perform selected diagnostic tests and procedures as indicated by the patient's condition such as obtaining complete health histories, accurate physical examinations, and administering treatment plans in collaboration with the practicing Physician.
The Nurse Practitioner will also be responsible for initiating treatment for patients with commonly occurring health problems.
Order / perform selected diagnostic tests and procedures as indicated by the patient's condition
Prescribe approved medications as outlined by the state regulatory acts
REQUIREMENTS :
Master's Degree in Nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment.
1-2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner is required.
They must also have valid licenses to practice and use the title of Nurse Practitioner within the state.
In addition, the NP must also have their current CPR / BCLS certification.
