About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Diagnostic Job Duration : 14 months Shift : 8 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM (Weekends required, shift flexibility to be discussed during interview) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : 2 years required experience License : Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certifications : Issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Must-Have : 1 year MRI experience, relevant equipment proficiency Job Description : Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during MRI examinations.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to patient care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results.- Adjust and operate MRI equipment, adhering to safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.- Conduct quality control checks on MRI equipment.- Provide patient education regarding MRI procedures.
- Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to maintain expertise in MRI technology.- Communicate effectively in English, with ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
