Job Summary
Performs daily equipment and building component checks. Responds to calls from hospital departments regarding problems that affect the hospital environment and equipment.
Performs a variety of duties where autonomy of action is necessary, and the difficulty exceeds that normally expected of the Mechanic I.
Participates in hospital emergency situations as detailed in the Emergency Plans Manual.
Minimum Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an electrician, plumber, HVAC service specialist, painter, or related field.
- At least 5 or more years of experience in a trade under a licensed business.
- Valid Driver's License may be required depending on job duties assigned.
