PORTWEST , a leading global manufacturer of safety products, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Warehouse Associate, based at our US Distribution Center in Shepherdsville KY.
Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,600 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130+ countries and 11 Global warehouses including facilities in UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, UAE, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.

Start Date : Flexible
Hours : 10am-6.30pm M-F Optional Overtime
Role Overview
In the warehouse you will mainly be involved in processing orders for our customers, as well as working with your colleagues in the warehouse to ensure efficiency in all areas.
As part of the warehouse team, you will play an important role in servicing the customers of Portwest LLC in the United States.
We will afford you with the support and guidance you need to succeed in your role, and the development of our business. Some very basic computer skills are required as part of the role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Order picking with manual, paper-based pick sheet
- Ensuring order accuracy in size, color, qty, etc.
- Order packing in preparation for shipping
- Ensures targets are met (working to speed and accuracy)
- Unloading inbound stock
- Inventory counts
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety standards
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
