Shift timings : 19 : 00-07 : 30 Hours.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strict requirement 2 years recent PICU experience at a large hospital
- Mixed medical / surgical PICU. Primary assignment is PICU, traveler should expect occasional floating to CICU.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Pediatricu ICU experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN Texas state license
- One year of Epic experience
