Job Description : As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing munication skills and improving the quality of life for students within the school district.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, and munication disorders in students.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Providing direct therapy sessions to students to address their speech and language challenges.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and effective approach to student development.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Sciences and Disorders.
- Kansas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
