The Coral Springs Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) is a free-standing ASC with Operating Rooms and Endoscopy suites. A Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Cleveland Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center circulates a large variety of ambulatory surgical cases in the 4-suite Operating Room Department, including but not limited to ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Urology, following established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures.

The opportunity to be trained in Endoscopy is available. The RN will use their strong assessment and critical thinking skills to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide the best outcomes for each patient.

This role plays an integral part in ensuring patient advocacy and safety.The hours of this full-time position are primarily four 10-hour shifts per week, 6 : 45am-5 : 15pm.

On-call shifts are not currently required but may be required in the future.Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include : A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS OF RN EXPERIENCE IN AN OPERATING ROOM IS REQUIRED.

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).

Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.

Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
