We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you who is ready to share their knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day.

Here, you’ll use your consulting skills and experience to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports our public service mission to provide the nation with reliable, affordable service.

As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate the modernization of our client's IT network to achieve operational efficiency and customer service excellence.

As the organizational advisor of all aspects of verbal and written communications, you’ll oversee and author client CIO communications, including external industry and internal departmental speeches, talking points, and presentations, customer-facing tech and marketing sheets, internal newsletter articles, emails, and other digital communications, as well as support technology-focused learning events.

Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound.

Work with us as we design, develop, and produce strategic technology communications to change our client's IT landscape for the better.

You Have :

• 5+ years of experience writing newsletters, speeches, PowerPoint decks, and internet web content
• Experience using AP style
• Knowledge of technology concepts, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, modern design principles, software development, cloud computing, and network modernization
• Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and shift priorities quickly
• Public Trust
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have :

• Experience in IT
• Ability to display enthusiasm for learning new technology concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or Comparative Literature
• IT Certification

Vetting :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
