Verdantas is seeking a Survey Staff I. This position will be in the Toledo, Ohio office location .

Responsibilities :

• Assist Registered Professional Land Surveyor with land surveying, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, technical, civil engineering design, or provide Project Management
• Perform technical surveying and engineering-related work associated with land development projects :
• Land Surveying
• Processing of survey data field to finish processing
• Preparation of existing conditions base plans in AutoCAD
• CAD Drafting assistance
• Prepare plans for agency / municipal review
• Completion of various land development permitting applications
• Attend meetings with surveyors, engineers, and technicians
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate, both orally and written, effectively

Qualifications :

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• An associate degree in surveying and / or civil engineering technology from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred
• 0-2 years of field surveying experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of field equipment like Total Robotic Station or other field equipment
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, or Civil 3D preferred
• Certified Survey Technician desired (CST), or completion of the Fundamentals of Survey exam
• Must have a valid driver’s license
