Job Description : Speech-Language Pathologist
Location : Glendale, Arizona
Job Summary :
Glendale Unified School District is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders, helping them achieve their communication goals in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide therapy services in individual or group settings to improve articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Arizona state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Licensure and Certification Requirements :
- Arizona Department of Education License : Required for working in Arizona public schools.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) : Required for providing speech-language pathology services.
