Responsibilities :
- The Director of Product Development will lead product strategy design and vision, continuously innovating by analyzing data and developing meaningful metrics.
- This role involves communicating the "why" and "who" behind new SKUs to the team.
- The Director will be responsible for product enhancements and redesigns, ensuring the execution of the product roadmap.
- The position requires tracking sustainability efforts and demonstrating leadership in building and managing the product development team.
- The candidate will be the main point of contact for the entire company regarding product launches and must meet or exceed established product development milestones.
- Budget management and cost control within the product development department are key responsibilities.
- Strong project management skills are necessary to ensure timely delivery of product launches and to meet established milestones.
Minimum Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product design, or a related field is required for this role.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing product development teams.
- Experience in leading and developing talent at various levels is essential for this position.
- A strong understanding of market trends, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape is necessary.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve profitability targets within the product development department is crucial.
- The candidate should have proficiency in utilizing data analysis to inform product decisions and measure performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in the beauty industry is strongly preferred for this role.
