About The Position
Job Details
Position : Emergency Medicine NP
Location : California
Coverage Start : Early December
Hours : Mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts
Responsibilities :
- Conduct full workups for patients presenting with chest pains, abdominal pains, sepsis, appendicitis, obstructions, diverticulitis, dizziness / vertigo, and surgical workups.
- Manage early DKA cases and rule out chest pains.
- Interpret EKGs and chest X-rays.
- Understand protocols for patient admissions to the hospital and direct transfers to the operating room.
- Provide care for newborns (1-2 weeks old) and geriatric patients.
- Manage respiratory issues such as RSV in infants.
- Oversee MRI and ultrasound management.
- Perform toenail removals.
