About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Operating Room / Surgical Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 6 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties every other weekend and occasionally 2 to 3 days a week during on-call weeks Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : 3-5 years of experience in an operating room setting License : N / A Certifications : - NBSTSA Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required- BLS Certification required Must-Have : Good communication skills- Proficiency in sterilization procedures Job Description : Responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures- Assist the surgeon during operations- Sterilize surgical equipment- Assemble scheduled and emergency case carts- Available for on-call duties within a reasonable distance Additional Requirements : High School diploma or equivalency required- English proficiency : Speak, Read, Write
