Job Summary :
The Physician's Assistant will provide high-quality mental health care to patients in our
Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC). This person will work closely with a multidisciplinary
team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health disorders. Additionally, the Physician's Assistant will collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare.

Responsibilities :
1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients.
2. Diagnose mental health disorders based on assessment findings and DSM criteria.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient
and the multidisciplinary team.
4. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate.
5. Provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families.
6. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
7. Document all patient encounters and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies
and procedures.
8. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment
plans.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health care and medication
management.
10. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
Qualifications :
1. Master’s or Doctorate degree.
2. Current, unrestricted license in Maryland.
3. Certification as a Psychiatric Physician's Assistant
4. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health care.
5. Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
8. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
