About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (9 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum circulate experience required License : Illinois license required Certifications : Epic experience required Must-Have : COVID-19 vaccine required, medical / religious exemptions only Job Description : Provide skilled nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.- Manage the care and safety of patients during surgical procedures.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.- Participate in the preparation and organization of the operating room.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and tools.- Maintain sterile field and environment during surgeries.- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize patient care.- Engage in continuous improvement and professional development activities.
Note : Fingerprinting is required to be completed one week prior to the start date. Modules are part of the orientation, non-billable, and vary by specialty with up to 5 hours of module completion required.
Orientation includes 8 non-billable hours.
