KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Risk Management, Technology Data Organization to join our Risk Management organization.
Responsibilities :
Assist in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating technology-related risks to effectively manage the firm’s technology risks;
collaborate effectively with business leadership, project team members, and various review teams (for example, Security, Privacy, and Legal) to achieve this goal
- Conduct periodic compliance activities to help ensure that technologies and processes adhere to respective requirements
- Support the continuous improvement of Risk Management processes, materials, and tools by helping to design, develop, and evaluate risk management guidelines and policies;
suggest changes and coordinate implementation as needed
- Lead and / or participate in various Risk Management projects and initiatives
- Direct and / or participate in overseeing and evaluating the firm’s technology processes to ensure effective controls are in place
- Assist teams in developing and implementing new technology governance review methodologies and protocols in response to emerging technologies, new services, or the firm’s strategic transformation initiatives
Qualifications :
Minimum three years of recent related work experience in risk management, project management, IT security management, software development, IT operations and / or technology-related consulting;
client facing consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university
- Relevant IT or risk management certification (CRISC, CISSP, CISM and CISA) preferred; working knowledge of Service Now’s eGRC Solutions is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels; strong written and verbal communication skills;
exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Hands-on, independent, and accountable management style; progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
