Job Summary
- Provides professional nursing information to patients per telephone.
- Triages phone calls from patients.
- Transcribes information given to patients on a telephone to the medical record. Presents that information to provider.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient / customer’s status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Education and / or Experience
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and / or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
Day shift as needed; PRN
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$20.75 - $29.25 per hour
