Full-time

The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations.

This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
  • 3+ years of experience designing revit renderings in two of the following disaplines :
  • Architectural
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Life Safety
  • Strong ability to design other aspects of the build within revit, such as equipment layouts, electrical / mechanical details, elevation changes, ect.
  • Associates Degree in related field

Plusses

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Semiconductor tool hookup design experience
  • Electrical design and modeling / software
  • Navisworks verification of design models
  • Cleanroom HPM knowledge / experience
  • Experience with Codes and insurance requirements for use and storage of hazardous process materials
  • Cleanroom or Laboratory design experience

Day to Day :

Insight Global is looking for a REVIT Designer to join the team of a large Semiconductor construction firm. This individual will be working closely with Architect’s and Engineers to undersand design requirements from the client.

They will then be responsible for preparing drawings, plans, families, and models within Revit for client review. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to take their BIM experience to the next level and develop large scale models for the semiconductor industry.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Generation of drawings and designs in accordance with direction by Architects and Engineers.
  • Create and improve BIM templates, families and libraries.
  • Create / manipulate REVIT, Renderings, REVIT Tools, AutoCAD.
  • BIM Design Coordination between disciplines.
  • Preparation of drawings and 3D models for cleanrooms, laboratories, chemical or gas storage rooms and support facilities.
  • Integrate submittals, manufacturers data and as built information into the BIM Model.
