Hourly Rate : $30.00 - $43.00 per hour
Job Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in North Carolina.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet the healthcare needs of patients, demonstrating professional nursing care and exceptional communication.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct patient care, assess patient health problems, and develop nursing care plans to meet individualized patient needs.
Administer medications and perform necessary procedures in accordance with physician orders.
Monitor patient progress and make necessary changes to care plans.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide appropriate care and ensure smooth care transitions.
Educate patients and their families on treatments, procedures, and recovery processes.
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure proper documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Participate in unit-based shared governance councils and actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :
Required : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrolled in a BSN or advanced degree program (must obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire).
Preferred : Master's in Nursing.
Experience :
Required : At least one year of hospital nursing experience.
