Description
OmniVision Technologies, Santa Clara is looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team.
Responsibilities :
- Perform failure analysis of OmniVision Image Sensor and ASIC components.
- Perform electrical fault isolation and physical root cause analysis.
- Responsible for daily failure analysis work primarily from internal engineering groups.
- Works closely with quality and engineering groups to perform failure analysis.
- Publish reports and drive corrective actions found during failure analysis.
- Work closely with subcontractors to facilitate failure analysis cases which require outside subcontractor support.
Requirements :
- BS degree (MS degree preferred) in technical degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
- 2+ years of experience in quality and reliability engineering in semiconductor industry.
- Experience in integrated circuits, components, electronic modules or systems is required (Knowledge of image sensor testing and quality is a plus).
- Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills preferably with multinational experience.
- Demonstrated background in problems solving of electronic components and systems is highly desirable.
- Dynamic, progressive, proactive, responsive, and hands-on experience and ability to work in multi-functional teams with minimum supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, team spirit, and positive approach.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $80,000 - $110,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
