About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : X-Ray Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 hours, Monday-Friday, 9 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : 2 years preferred License : VA License required Certifications : BLS (must be American Heart Association), ARRT Must-Have : Epic access needed Job Description : Perform X-ray procedures for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work a rotating weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7 : 30 AM - 8 : 00 PM) as needed.- Participate in on-call duties on a PRN basis with a 1-hour response time.
- Holiday work is integrated into the schedule.- Collaborate with the team using EMR systems such as Epic, GE, and Phillips.
- Wear scrubs provided when assigned to the OR; otherwise, black scrubs are required.- Expect one week of floor orientation.
- No floating expectations.- Ensure high standards of imaging quality and patient safety.This position is an excellent opportunity for qualified X-Ray Technicians seeking a temporary role with comprehensive responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
