ROLE SUMMARY

XELJANZ is the flagship brand for I&I and has been on the market for more than 10 years since its initial approval in 2012.

XELJANZ is of significant importance to I&I and the growth of Pfizer Specialty Care. Spanning five indications, XELJANZ pioneered the JAK class as the first and most studied medicine in its class and has reached >

500k patients worldwide since its launch; a driving contribution to our I&I commitment of delivering solutions for patients suffering from debilitating immuno-inflammatory conditions.

This Senior Product Manager, XELJANZ®, will lead Digital Strategy and Execution for all four rheumatology indications (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and pcJIA.

This position will report to the US Marketing Consumer Team Lead, XELJANZ. This role represents a key opportunity for a talented, high energy marketing colleague to lead important & innovative commercial initiatives to a highly visible Specialty Care brand.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead patient ambassador program and Patients in Focus Campaign for XELJANZ Rheumatology
  • Lead CRM initiative for Xeljanz
  • Lead patient Field Force tactics such as patient brochures.
  • Patient Marketing liaison to Access and Payer teams
  • Champion innovation, seek learnings from other brands and other industries to innovate our go to market approach
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key functions, including but not limited to sales, medical, market research, legal, finance, and regulatory
  • Lead digital strategy for XELJANZ Consumer Rheumatology team
  • Lead the Point of Care Initiative.
  • Lead all Consumer tactics and strategies for the UC indication
  • Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with strong adherence to Pfizer values including compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate demonstrates the ability to influence key stakeholders and collaborate with peers to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact quickly.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Pfizer marketing experience required
  • Digital and customer engagement experience
  • Ability to understand customer needs, extract key insights, and translate these into meaningful strategies and tactics
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative idea development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership
  • Demonstrated success in navigating complex projects and influencing internal and external business partners to deliver results
  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.

5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. We offer comprehensive and generous benefits and programs to help our colleagues lead healthy lives and to support each of life’s moments.
