Skyworks is seeking a test Co-op for its Diversified Analog Solutions (DAS) Division in Andover, MA design center. Description
We are seeking a full-time Winter / Spring Co-Op for Test & Validation engineering team at Andover site. As a test co-op you will be responsible for analyzing device characteristics and evaluate RF performance for down selection.
You will play a critical role in understanding and documenting performance, ensuring that our products meet the necessary specifications and performance criteria.
Responsibilities
Support engineering activities such as test, check-out and modification
Work from schematic, diagrams, written and verbal description
Assist in determining methods for time reduction
Building RF test setups and harnesses
Perform RF tests, evaluating standard RF devices, including but not limited to amplifiers, filters, couplers, etc.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in electrical engineering pursuing BS or MS degree
- Must have the ability to complete a 6-month Co-op term prior to graduation
- Familiarity with RF bench testing
- Must be proactive and improve and troubleshoot test benches
- Knowledge of RF test equipment : Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, etc..
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to understand schematics and diagrams
- Must have team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership
- Understanding of RF Technology
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.
S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
