Job Title : Data Discovery and Data Access Governance Architect

Location : Phoenix, Austin or South Lake ( Dallas) in USA

Role and responsibility :

Key Skills :

• Should have knowledge / expertise of implementing Data Discovery tools like Securiti.ai, Varonis, BigID, Microsoft MIP Scanner etc.
• Drive Data Discovery project and lead technical effort to implement the tool and Perform Data Discovery.
• Should have strong understanding of Data Access Governance.
• Should have worked of Tools like Varonis, Steathbits etc.
• Strong knowledge of Data Discovery solutions, Data Access Governance and Data Classification technologies.
• Implementation of industry leading practices around Data Discovery & Data Access Governance technology for clients.
• Data Access Governance Skills required :
• Track which folder has open access and will remediate periodically
• Find where the regulated data is stored, and risk associated with it.
• Find and report stale data, and to limit the risk of exposure of sensitive data
• Repair and maintain file system permissions so datastores will be less vulnerable to internal and external threats by
• Should have good knowledge of Different Data Types like PII, PCI. Data Discovery policies, different storages, Structured and Unstructured Data.
• Should have ability to create regex to identify custom data types.
• Should be able to understand and create different data discovery use cases.
• Should be able to create Data Inventory, Assets register e : tc.

Additional Skills :

• Should have understanding of Data Privacy requirement (like DSAR, GDPR, CCPA)
• Should have knowledge of Data Classification.
• Communicate with internal and external resources to ensure all Data Discovery requirements for the customer.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise from an incomplete scans, scan related performance issues, agent related performance issues, network traffic related performance issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure.

Desired Skills & Experience :

• Knowledge & work experience of Data Discovery.
• Knowledge & Work experience of Data Access Governance.
• Hands on experience on Implementing any Data Discovery & Data Access governance tools.
• Knowledge & work experience on Data Security & Data Privacy Domain
• Professional certifications (or equivalent) in Enterprise Security
• Data Discovery & Data Access Governance (implementation and architecting) certification would be a plus

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $100000 to $127000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
