Norman Regional Hospital System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area.
We have an innovative cardiovascular program including diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, Implants including Bi-V and micrapacemakers, and structural heart including PFO closures, TAVRs, Cardiac Ablations and Left Atrial appendage closures.
Norman Regional Cath Lab is completing a large expansion and will soon include three Cath Lab Suites, one Electrophysiology Suite, one Hybrid Suite, two treatment rooms and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Our expanding services now include electrophysiology. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and we are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Nurses to expand our cardiovascular program.

Job Summary
The Cath Lab Nurse functions independently as a member of the Norman Regional Cardiovascular patient care team that includes Registered Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Cardiologist.
Members of the Cath Lab team will report to the Cath Lab Manager. Along with their teammates, this individual will be responsible for growing our cardiovascular program. Duties will include :
- Moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and pre and post care of the Cath Lab patient.
- Documents and obtains accurate patient information for national registries.
- Performs daily quality controls for a wide range of equipment utilized in the routine care of a patient.
- Develops and integrates safe, competent and efficient standards of care for patients presenting to the lab.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cardiovascular medications, including dosing, side effects, and drug interactions. Uses critical thinking to identify and manage adverse events or unanticipated outcomes.
- Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
- Knowledge of anatomy
- Knowledgeable in radiation safety
- Advanced ECG and arrhythmia skills required
- Flexibility in work hours
Qualifications
Education / Licensure / Certification
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab department preferred
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support
Compensation
- $27.84-$45.46 / hr based on previous work experience
