Overview

As the Vice President of Engineering at Radix, you will be a key leader driving measurable improvements in our product and engineering initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will shape our technology roadmap, enhance the performance of international engineering teams, and optimize our cost of goods sold (COGS) to achieve scalability, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Product and Engineering Strategy

Define and execute a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market trends, resulting in successful product launches and enhancements.

• Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Team Leadership and Development

Manage and mentor engineering teams across multiple locations, ensuring high performance and engagement.

Cultivate a collaborative and accountable culture that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.

Scale and optimize teams and workflows to meet evolving business needs and achieve project milestones.

Execution and Delivery

Oversee the software development lifecycle to ensure timely, high-quality releases that meet customer expectations.

• Implement and monitor KPIs (e.g., DORA metrics) to drive engineering productivity and product performance.
• Adopt agile methodologies to accelerate development processes and improve go-to-market speed.
• Cost Optimization and Efficiency

Optimize COGS by identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or performance.

• Manage engineering budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
• Stakeholder Communication and Alignment

Align engineering priorities with product management, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication.

Provide regular updates to executive leadership on engineering progress, milestones, and potential risks.

Technical Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, developing high-performing teams.
• Proven expertise in software architecture, cloud-native designs, and modern data platforms.
• Experience integrating diverse data sources and ensuring seamless data flow.
• Strong background in ETL / ELT processes and leveraging business intelligence tools.
• Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI / CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing).
