Rezdôra is a Michelin Starred (NYTimes 3-Star) Italian Restaurant dedicated to the food & hospitality of the Emilia Romagna region in Italy.

The restaurant was founded by CIA graduate Chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer. Stefano's father is from Italy and he has worked and cooked in the homeland for over 3 years including at Osteria Francescana, All’Enoteca and Hosteria Giusti, based in Modena, Emilia Romagna and Canale, Piemonte respectively.

We are seeking to hire an Assistant General Manager who will lead-by-example and foster a top-notch FOH team all while contributing to the positive culture of our restaurant.

This individual will assist in mentoring, training, and maintaining the elevated steps of service while working closely with General Manager, Christina Caruana, and all members of the restaurant’s management team.

Additionally, we seek someone who is energetic and passionate about all aspects of hospitality & Italian culture.

Service Experience Requirements :

  • A minimum of 4 years of fine dining experience as a restaurant manager
  • Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility & leadership
  • Computer literacy to include : Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Toast & TripleSeat
  • Literacy to reservation platforms such as : OpenTable / Resy
  • Dedication to hospitality and building a great guest experience
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge with the desire to learn in detail about traditional & authentic Italian food, wine, beer and spirits
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude
  • Experience in various capacities of restaurant staff (ie : server, host, bartender, busser, runner, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Must have open availability and able to work flexible hours
  • Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work with precision
  • Financial / Cash handling
  • Conflict resolution & mediation

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $83,000 - $87,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history / job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
