Summary : Seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design and oversight of piping and ducting systems in complex industrial facilities.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University
- Twelve (12) or more years of practical application in mechanical facilities engineering (including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related systems)
- Four (4) or more years of experience leading engineering design teams and personnel development
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Idaho or ability to obtain within 3 months (active NCEES record)
- Five (5) or more years of experience with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools (manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms)
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software
- Two (2) years of field experience
Responsibilities :
- Design and oversee piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gasses in densely packed industrial facilities
- Retrofit existing building systems to accommodate tool installation, including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification
- Support during construction and integration into the factory
- Manage staff hiring, terminations, recruitment, development, and retention, including interviews, onboarding, salary negotiations, performance evaluations, defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations, training, and continuous career development
- Work with other design staff, client equipment owners, researchers, and equipment manufacturers to develop utility requirement documents for installation design packages
Pay Details : $37.00 to $50.00 per hour
