Job Title : Payroll Specialist

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Nashville. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on time
- Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, and taxes
- Review and reconcile payroll data to detect and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, and regulations
- Experience with payroll software (, ADP, Paychex, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
