Key responsibilities
- Assessing patients' conditions and recording their medical histories
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
- Assisting with diagnostic tests and analyzing results
- Documenting all patient care services provided
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
- Participating in continuous education and training to maintain licensure and stay updated on best practices
- Conducting patient discharge planning and follow-up care
- Supervising and coordinating the work of licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Proven clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient assessment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate and ethical patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
