Leading investment management firm is looking for a Director of Engineering within their Digital Technology arm. This senior leader will report to the Global Head, US Institutional and Intermediary Technology.
Responsibilities :
- Drive strategic initiatives and leverage technology to bring about meaningful advancements within digital technology.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-quality digital solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and relevance to the organization's technical roadmap.
- Lead and mentor a team of 40+ engineers including Back-End Developers, Front-End Developers and Business Analysts
- Ensure adoption of modern software development practices in accordance with the firm’s cloud adoption strategy.
- Lead web development and web content management initiatives in support of digital marketing organization
- Drive performance while being a player-coach who is comfortable working with a team in a direct manner.
Requirements :
- BS / MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical discipline
- 15+ years within the financial services domain within Engineering and technology
- Expertise working with Digital Marketing Technologies : Adobe Digital Marketing Cloud / Adobe Experience Manager / Adobe Campaign Manager preferred.
- Solid experience using Java
