Full Time Small Engine Mechanic Hiring ASAP

Reports to : Hardware Store Manager

Classification : Non-Union

Rate of Pay : $20.00 to $25.00 / commensurate on experience

Hours : Sunday Saturday, varied hours

Individuals applying for this position should be willing to :

  • Make lasting connections with our customers
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment to identify problems and determine solutions
  • Inspect and repair parts such as ignition systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, electrical systems and hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and lubricating parts
  • Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies such as oil, grease, and filters
  • Follow all store and department policies and procedures
  • Help maintain a clean and safe store
  • Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department

  • Is friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team
  • Repairs chainsaws, lawn mowers and snow blowers
  • Will help customers load purchases into their vehicles
  • Has experience working with small engines (2-3 years preferred)
