Responsibilities
For ALL Pharmacists : Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care primarily through providing service excellence, clinical services, distributive functions, education, and a commitment to the department’s mission.
He / she shall possess characteristics to successfully fulfill their responsibilities, including effective communication, flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, cooperation, and a high level of knowledge and skills applicable to their area of practice.
He / she will regularly profile orders for medications, monitor patient’s drug therapies, provide drug information, and initiate / modify drug therapy based on medical staff approved policies and protocols.

Qualifications
Minimum PreferredEducationAll : Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) from an accredited institution.All : Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
Technical SkillsAll : Knowledge of hospital based information system, reporting features, and Microsoft Office. All : Strong proficiency in computer literacy including but not limited to MS Office, Pharmacy clinical systems (Cerner), and Pyxis technologiesLicense / CertificationAll : Current Pharmacist License in the State of Florida Board Certification (BCPS)
