We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accountant I in Loveland, Colorado. The role primarily involves undertaking financial accounting tasks in a systematic and efficient manner.
As a part of our team, you will be helping us provide top-notch services in the agriculture industry, while contributing to our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily financial accounting activities
- Facilitate month-end close processes
- Prepare and submit journal entries
- Manage account reconciliations
- Implement best practices for execution of accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with relevant teams as necessary on accounting-related matters
- Provide financial and business analysis to support strategic objectives
- Develop and utilize reporting tools to aid management decisions
- Execute additional duties and projects as assigned
- Uphold the principles of accounting in all tasks.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and best practices
- Experience with account reconciliation and journal entries
- Familiarity with month-end close activities
- Strong knowledge of finance and business analysis
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as PeopleSoft and SAP S / 4HANA
- Capable of performing ad hoc financial and accounting functions
- Prior experience in a retail or production facility environment is a plus
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of sustainable practices within the finance industry
- Familiarity with reporting tools and strategic objectives
- Experience with QA management is desirable
- Ability to adhere to procedures and manage time effectively.
